Just Do It!!!

Just do it!!! Be strong and courageous, and do it!!! Nike was about 3,000 years late with their famous slogan... King David had them beat.

What i am praying for are people who accept the challenge to Finish Strong! Salvation is not the end, it is the beginning of our walk with the Lord, and as King David told his son Solomon in 1 Chron 28:20 ...Be strong and courageous, and do it. Fear not, be not dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail or forsake you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

And as Jesus said in John 4:34 "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

We need people who will FINISH STRONG!!! Pray with me that the Lord will call many who are willing!
 

Sowers introduces our new Director of Mobilization

We are so happy to introduce a young man who will be a huge blessing for the kingdom. His position is Director of Mobilization & he will be working on creative ways to mobilize believers to get more involved in missions & local evangelism.

Bio

Jean-Pierre (J.P.) Poveda has over 15 years experience in software systems design, engineering and application. He has served as Chief Technology Officer at two companies and co-founded a publicly traded technology firm. He currently serves as Chief Technology Advisor to Vintigo, Inc. and chairman to the Malawi Development Project. J.P. Graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in Biblical Studies from Biola University. He is currently a student at Talbot Theological Seminary where is he earning a master of arts, double majoring in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics and New Testament. He has participated in short-term mission outreaches to Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, India, Guatemala and Mexico.

Vision

A biblical institute at Rolling Hills Covenant Church is being formed to focus on three key areas: training Christian leaders, equipping Christians at various stages of spiritual growth, and reaching out to the local community. The leadership training focus seeks to train leaders through a life transformation approach that places special emphasis on discipling the body through a firm foundation in the Word of God. The institute also seeks to train up mission team leaders, as well as mission team teachers who have the necessary tools to effectively train pastors in a cross-cultural setting. Additionally, the institute provides general courses designed to draw students at various stages of their walk closer to Christ through encountering the fullness of His word. The institute also shines as a light on a hill to the local community by providing classes tailored to the unchurched pertaining to family needs and life’s various questions.
